Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Mishka app ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
Mishka is a Russian language learning app that provides stories, grammar lessons, AI-powered conversation practice, flashcards, and other educational content. The app is available in both a free tier and a premium subscription tier ("Mishka Pro").
Account Registration
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to update it as needed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Subscriptions & Billing
- Mishka Pro — Premium subscriptions are available on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis and are billed through Apple's App Store.
- Free Trials — Some subscription plans may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription.
- Auto-Renewal — Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation — You can cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds — All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly through their support channels.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Submit abusive, harmful, or inappropriate content through AI conversation features
- Share your account credentials with others or use another person's account
- Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or access premium features without a valid subscription
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app
AI-Powered Features
Mishka uses AI services (including Google Gemini) to provide conversation practice, writing feedback, and language corrections. AI-generated responses are for educational purposes only and may not always be perfectly accurate.
We reserve the right to limit AI feature usage to prevent abuse and manage costs. Usage limits may vary between free and premium tiers.
Intellectual Property
All content in the app — including stories, lessons, characters, illustrations, and audio — is owned by Mishka and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that learning outcomes will meet your expectations.
Mishka is an educational tool and is not a substitute for formal language instruction or certification programs.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mishka and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
